Ladies Auxiliary 115

Our welcoming membership offers camaraderie in a family-friendly atmosphere. We encourage veterans and their families to participate in our activities.

Additionally, the Post 115 Auxiliary is open to spouses, mothers, sisters, daughters and granddaughters of AMVETS members living or any veteran who could have become a member of AMVETS but is now deceased. It is a distinct organization from Post 115 with whom we are proud to frequently partner.  The Post 115 Auxiliary is very active and it is routinely recognized at the state and national level.

At many events, you will see both Post 115 members and Post 115 Auxiliary members. We combine to better serve Hays County and central Texas. 

 Membership in AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary is open to the mothers, wives, widows,  grandmothers, sisters, daughters and granddaughters of AMVETS and female veterans who are currently serving or who have honorably served in the Armed      Forces of the United States, including the National Guard and Reserve components,   anytime after September 15, 1940. 

For more than 50 years AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary has served veterans  and their communities through programs such as John Tracy Clinic (for hearing,  impaired and deaf children ages 18 months to 5 years), PAWS With a Cause  (who trains Assistance Dogs for people with disabilities), Scholarships,  St. Jude’s Hospital for Children, Veterans Affairs Volunteer Services  programs (VAVS) and Freedom’s Foundation just to mention a few.

 A network of AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary members across the country provides a teamwork of support for local volunteers. Volunteering is the heart of AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary. Volunteer services are recognized through an extensive  awards program both on the department and national level.      

 The AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary 115 participates with and supports  our AMVETS Post 115.      

 We would like to invite you to become part of our network of volunteers dedicated  to serving our Nation’s veterans and the local communities in which  they and you reside.      

 Welcome to the webpage. Hopefully, all your questions regarding the Auxiliary will be answered  right here. The who, what, where, why is but a click away.    

 We were asked and we answered the call of AMVETS Post 115 to form an Auxiliary.  We have 23 members currently in the Auxiliary and are recruiting ladies that believe our veterans are worth the effort and want to join us. The more ladies  involved in this worthy cause, the more support we can give our Veterans.

 AWARDS

2025:  Our Ladies Auxiliary received first place awards for Americanism, Membership, Child Welfare and Community Service at the Texas State AMVETS convention in Tyler, TX . They also received third place  or Hospital. Not bad for little ole Kyle, Texas.
